Free anime-style VR simulation

Viva Project 2 is a free-to-play simulation experience from Poison Pill. This lets you experience a first-person virtual reality sim where you create an anime avatar for yourself. Move around, interact with objects, and talk with other characters.

Designed without a VR headset required, Viva Project 2 gives a similar experience, although you’d have to press buttons to navigate and make certain actions. Its sandbox nature and its cast of anime characters make it enjoyable despite the game’s wonky physics and animation and the game-breaking glitches. It’s still enjoyable, though, much like its predecessor Viva Project.

Take care of an anime cat girl

Viva Project 2 promises complete freedom to the player, although the experience centers on a simple premise. You are located in a traditional Japanese home, with a bathhouse included. You are tasked with taking care of an anime cat girl. You have the ability to carry and guide her around, give her a bath, or put her to sleep. Of course, you can do as you’re told or not.

The game has a larger map, with adjoining buildings plus additional locations specified in the in-game map. However, not all sections are accessible. As for the game, it simulates a VR experience right on your screen. You can check tutorials on how to play the game, your tasks, achievements, and more, making it easy to navigate. Also, you can give head pats to your anime cat girl.

The main issue with this game is its unpolished VR feel. Your character’s limbs stretch unnaturally, and certain textures sometimes do not load properly. Even worse, the interactionand physics are still wonky, which results in otherwise soft and intimate instances into creepy and violent-looking scenarios. Other than that, this is a casual game that doesn’t have consequences for failure.

A fun and casual pseudo-VR game

If you’re looking for a casual experience, Viva Project 2 is an excellent title to check out. It perfectly captures a VR experience, both the good and bad, without the need for additional hardware. Its simple premise is designed to be entirely optional but is supported by a very intuitive interface for people looking to take good care of the included anime cat girl.

In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
